Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai (transl. No idea where she came from) is a science fiction romance film directed by Milap Zaveri. It stars Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonal Sehgal, and Ruslaan Mumtaz in lead roles. It was Warner Bros.'s third Indian movie production. The film released on 9 April 2010 to mixed reviews from critics and is yet to receive a home video release.
A brief summary of the plot
The film follows Rajesh Parekh (Riteish Deshmukh), a simple Gujarati boy who has been looking for love since he was a baby. He works as a clap-boy with Bollywood filmmaker Farah Khan and lives a wealthy lifestyle with his parents. He meets and falls for Natasha (Sonal Sehgal), the sister of Desh (Ruslaan Mumtaz), the youngest superstar in the country. However, he faces heartbreak when she rejects him.
One night, while watching a movie in a drive-in theater, a gorgeous alien named Tara (Jacqueline Fernandez) lands in his arms and passes out. He takes her home, confides in his friend Kaushal (Vishal Malhotra), and tries to find out who she is. He learns that she is from Venus and has come to Earth to find true love. They decide to name her Tara and show her photos of two of the hottest males on Earth - Brad Pitt and Desh. Since the former is already taken and the latter is single, they decide to try and woo him.
However, things get complicated when Tara falls for Rajesh instead of Desh, and Rajesh realizes that he loves her too. Meanwhile, Desh also develops feelings for Tara and tries to win her over. What will happen to this love triangle? Will Tara find her true love on Earth? Will Rajesh get his happy ending? You will have to watch the movie to find out!
